Job fair?
I go to a career fair jobs monster in Houston, TX. I am from another state … you do them may be interested if i havent moved there yet ?…. i plan on moving as soon as I can get a job ..
It depends your availability to your prospective employer. I do not think it matters little. At career fairs, you often have the chance to talk to HR and hiring managers, it is important that you make a good first impression and have a great resume and cover letter. Find a list of participating companies and research on them, find a mission statement. Identify personal characteristics that are compatible with their mission statement or goals and the work in your letter. Writing a cover letter tailored to each employer greatly increases your chances. Especially if you can come up with a name address the letter.
