How often will be a Civil Engineer on site?

Given the civil engineer working on the transport or structure how many times the engineer (s) to be on the site? I am seriously considering a civil engineering degree and I would like to know what subject. What type of engineer jobs would be available for new civil engineers with a BS? Would I work as an engineer in the field during the first beginner, and how long they are on site? Any entry of a civil engineer, a person in the building, or anyone who has an answer will appreciated.

Everything depends on the company and position. Many civil engineering students say they want to be on the field, only to find that the upward mobility is limited by being in a critical position on the field. Many companies employ "engineers on the ground "to have someone on site who is able to answer technical questions and monitoring performance. No matter what kind of genius you choose, the highest level you move, the more you'll be in an office. It's not all bad though. Being in the field all day can be very tiring, and from experience I can tell you it is nice to be able to share your time. I would obtain employment survey, where you'll be in the field of 95% of the time, and explore your options within the company. Most survey companies also use a large number of civil engineers, and you'd have a chance to really explore what everyone in the company does. You'll probably have more success in the transport of this strategy, but you can make it work with structures as well.
