Call around to several studios and ask them if they need an assistant. Then watch and learn. Sometimes, the Dayton Daily News hires staff photographers, but they want someone with experience and good portfolio. Come in a photo shop pro as Fairborn Camera and ask them if they know someone. Take some of your best work with you to show the guys there, and they could even offer some help and advice. Just do not tell them I sent you.
