How are the jobs of entertainment affected by the recession?

Why have I never heard of layoffs or reductions for jobs that are in the entertainment field? Such as professional sports, music, theater, etc. Also, why are they still make as much money if so many people are unemployed or have reduced paychecks?

There are massive layoffs in entertainment. A large number of staff cuts. Taxes high costs and turn in some cities, including Los Angeles, unfortunately, are the manufacturers of TV and film go to other states countries and because it is cheaper. Regarding the sport goes, they have also had layoffs. Keep in mind these industries generate much money. Players and actors and directors to appropriate treatment for their contribution to profits.
