Most people do not consider looking for a job in a hospital. Most do not think hospitals have nothing to offer, Unless you are a health professional. But there is much more than that. It is true that once you are in hospital, most employees you have contact with health professionals, but keep in mind that there are many professionals working "Behind-the-scenes" to keep the proper functioning of the hospital. But what exactly are those?

-IT professionals: they install, maintain and updated computers and software to hospitals require. Without them, modern hospitals could not even keep track of patient records as they do today.

Marketing Professionals: Their functions are endless. They ensure that clients (older patients) and visitors are satisfied with the service they do market research to know what people need from the hospital, and last but not least the marketing campaigns they design and run to the hospital.

-HR professionals: They are responsible for interviewing and hiring of professionals who have expertise and background require that the hospital, training of current employees and management of employer-employee

-Finance Professionals: They secure and manage financial resources.

-Receptionist: They welcome patients and visitors, asking them to register and provide information extra they might need. Normally it is the first employee to have contact with patients and visitors, so he or she should be highly trained and comfortable to have contacts with many people.

Administrative assistants: They help when they are needed; phone calls, send emails, preparing presentations and other documents, receiving visitors, etc.. According to the specific area which they work, they could have more responsibilities.

purchasing agents and assistants: they communicate with potential suppliers, negotiating Prices, quantities and delivery dates. They ensure that all equipment that the hospital needs (drugs and medical devices paper and pens) are in stock.

Heads-hospital and / or cooks: They design the sound and balanced menus (low fat, salt and sugar menus) for patients and visitors.

Other staff: servers in cafeterias, security guards, vendors for shopping, cleaning staff.

As you can see there are many options for everyone, no matter if you are a professional or a beginner … a hospital may have an opening that is just right for you. Give it a try!
