How many hours does an industrial engineer?

I'm Wright, an article on industrial engineering and I need to know how hours they work one day, how many sick days they get, how many paid vacation and holidays

There no single answer to your question. It depends on who is the employer, and a myriad of factors, including the industry they work, the Local law, corporate culture, etc. I personally know an industrial engineer who works 10 hours a day, six days a week, and another work 7.25 hours per day (yes, 7.25 hours, the contract), 5 days a week. It is interesting to both do the same. The first gets 5 weeks paid vacation, but he gets paid accommodation, food and a company car. It gets four weeks of paid vacation (when he wants). Both have ~ 12 days paid holiday per year. No idea of sick days, but none has ever mentioned that to be a problem. According my experience with other companies, these two tend to be extreme. I know that in certain industries, are expected to work without days off for weeks at a time, and then take a long break (eg oil and mining, particularly when work is in a very remote, as off-shore drilling platform). In other societies, it is just like a desk job (9 to 5, Monday to Friday).
