The Government is aware that there are young people in countries at risk. The risks they face are harmful to their young minds and body. Young people face the risk of lead away from unstable families, the homeless youth are exposed to abuse, some youth join gangs and violent start to abuse drugs because of low self-esteem. The government seeks to protect youth from risk of physical, emotional and mental damage in establishing programs to give them a positive path in life.
The Labor Department has established body of work across national provide risk youth employment, and a university education. Job Corps programs are residential and at-risk youth can earn a living learn everything. Working at a job gives young people a sense of self-esteem and help them to avoid harmful behaviors violent and abusive. They also appear properly prepared to enter the workforce in general, having worked with the job.
The GEARUP programs managed by the government to ensure that young people at risk are easily absorbed into the fabric of higher education. GEARUP means Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs. The program funds partnerships of Middle School and high schools and universities. The labor departments in these states are pleased with the increase the need for trained workers for an industry that respects the environment and training to youth at risk ensures that they are useful members of the workforce in the future.
Young offenders and minors who have turned to crime are provided with mentoring programs by the government. In some cases these children are supervised by those who were young offenders before and have reformed their lives. This helps set a good example to these people young and misguided. These programs have a proven success record and have reduced the number of dropouts at the Reformed young offenders.
