What jobs are available for people aged 14 to Cambridge?

me and my friend are looking for a job on time part in Cambridge [uk] but do not know where we can work. It would be helpful if anyone knew of places where jobs are available.

Are you in Cambridge itself or nearby? Some fish n chip shops sign up for one night a week or two before you are 16. Same with a few shops. Especially if its only you go in a lot. I think Sainsburys do something called "Blue Parrot" they hire under 16 but I'm not sure how it actually works or if its all good. Otherwise a good old paper round (do not go for that all free receives world because you are paid a few pence a paper and get loads of leaflets to deliver and stuff aswel for not much money). Cambridge Evening News are good because you can end up delivering anything from 5 / 6 to 20/30 + papers and they are all distributed normally if its best Use ur bike (if u are delivered to every house you have to really work as they are too close to keep up and get off your bike). Camb day aswel News are good because they give you a certificate of good service when you leave. Only problem is that it will be every night when the newspapers are usually once a week (but usually 150 + papers!) Hope this helps
