I'm looking foward to moving to state of Tennessee and would like to know what is the advantage of being bilingual and been in the field of human resources.

Bilingual HR Generalist ———————————————- —- —————————— Reply to: job-520656581@craigslist.org Date: 2007-12-27, 11: 42 STATEMENT OF PURPOSE CST Contact and manages all aspects of human resources as a liaison between employees and employer to ensure that all employees receive fair treatment company wide. Plans, organizes, directs and provides support to field operations human resources staff. Liaises between on field and various departments of the Home Office if necessary. PRIMARY ACTIVITIES 1. Work with regional directors of employee training, evaluate performance and disciplinary procedures promulgated when necessary. Addresses complaints and resolves problems. 2. Employee Awareness Balance and consulting manager employee relations and issues of performance management. 3. Helps internal complaint process response and resolution. Investigate and provide a just settlement of issues in policies and practices based on company policies, practices, procedures and applicable laws. management in the field caution against good method of resolving complaints. 4. Manage the disciplinary process, including termination of employment. 5. Perform onsite reviews, including but not limited to: a. Climate employee opinion surveys / b. Principles of Leadership and Communication Review v. Personnel records d. Audit and Review Time and payroll audits and reviews e. Controls for proper display of all businesses and posters legally required 6. Provides wages and hours and fair treatment compliance. Initiates corrective action when violations are discovered and advises management on preventive measures to prevent future abuses. 7. Advise managers regarding situations involving dismissals, progressive discipline, Drug Testing, demotions, promotions, etc. Check out the opening manager actions and comments to ensure action is consistent with the Company policy and applicable laws. Ensures the preservation of employee rights. 8. Conducts EEO investigations as required and responds to the EEO Title IV / complaint in the affected areas of responsibility. 9. Participates in mediation of EEO cases as needed. 10. Works with outside counsel on incidents according to needs in the affected areas of responsibility. 11. field management employees participate in business processes, including but not limited to: a. Performance Evaluation Process b. Issues related to payroll c. Wage increases d. Interpretation and application of policies and procedures 12. Facilitates and participates in training courses for all levels of field management, including legal compliance issues, upgrading employee recruitment training, etc. 13. Research and provides answers to the store management to employment situations. Enforces coherent policies, practices and procedures in each area of responsibility. 14. Plans and projects weekly / monthly calendar of activities. Keeps current schedule and plans for VP. Provides reporting procedures are established and deadlines met. Collaborates with the Manager, Employee Relations on Field Recruitment Coordinator and other HR staff as needed. Contributes to the recruitment manager to assess the effectiveness of efforts recruitment. 15. Help and interview viable candidates for recruitment and conduct orientations for new employees .. 16. Regular and predictable attendance Maintains. 17. Ensure a positive employee relations environment through strong relationships at all levels of the company. 18. Assist in the administration Records company personnel, including but not limited to filing and data entry in the database of employees HR:. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED • Bachelor of Human Resource Management or equivalent field or equivalent experience • Minimum 3 years experience in human resources • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels, often in difficult circumstances. • verbal and written communication skills with excellent ability to explain clearly policies, procedures, and how they apply to specific situations. • A good working knowledge of related human laws resources and regulations and their application in everyday business practices • Excellent organizational skills and ability to simultaneously manage these problems • Excellent knowledge of personal computers and word processing applications and ongoing e-mail. • Must be discreet regarding the confidential handling • Information on employees must be proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, Office, and have a thorough knowledge work of personal computer applications:.
