Should I move to NC and seek employment in my occupation or residence in WV and continue to seek employment until opened?

I am preparing to graduate with my Masters in Social Work in May and I am eager to move to NC. I tried to apply for jobs in North Carolina, but without success, so I wonder if it would be easier to move there and get a job (at Wal-Mart Sam's) until I find a job in my profession. I give myself time online than a year and if nothing comes available, then I would see my options. What do you think?

People want to be sure that you move before they can seriously consider. If is possible to plan one week to go to the area you want to live. Before agencies employment week of contact and you want health care employers potential and let them know when you're in the city. Tell them your plans and ask them if they wanted to spend a few minutes with you discussing opportunities in region or networking purposes. Be sure to let them know where you can be reached during the visit of the area so they can contact you if any something must surface while you're there. I have seen this work for many people. In fact, I used this technique successfully to me years ago when I decided to move to New York. Good luck!
