Why I can not find jobs in Maine?

I searched for 6 months and the only jobs that are availible are min. Employment employee. Maine is just a bad job of state?

Sinced I moved to New York City, for this reason … But anyway, to solve your problem … For some reason, People in Maine GENERALLY do not display online ads on CareerBuilder, Monster, HotJobs, etc. It's just a regional thing, I think people Maine simply do not. Instead of job searches online, try looking in your local paper for employment. If you do not graduate, seek administrative or executive assistant jobs, which tend to pay higher plan. If you still can not find jobs listed, hit the floor and place your resume in person at all office buildings in your city. If you live in a city is obviously ideal, but even if you live in the smallest town imaginable, you'd be surprised how many doctors, accountants, chambers of commerce and district offices school are seeking help. To be honest, Maine is a state of bad work. There is no denying it. I went through the same thing. Just work with what you have, try to apply for jobs in the largest city near you (wages tend to be more higher in cities or large towns), be prepared to commute and to sell yourself. (And no, I do not mean the street …!) Be firm on your income and how much you think you're worth.
