What job do I have if I finish the psychology course in college?
Im trying to decide what type of course im gonna take. I want to work in hospital so im thinking of taking nursing and psychology for my 2nd option. but id take nursing, I just do not know what kind of job psychology will give me.
You can pursue many positions with a degree in psychology, many of which are in a hospital. The most obvious is a psychologist or psychiatrist – many hospitals have psychologists and psychiatrists to evaluate residents to both patients and hospital staff. You can also become an advisor or consultant of the patient, this position advises patients about their care. There are also advisers to explain to families that the patient's family nature care and help them with their concerns. There are grief counselors to help the family with the loss of a loved one. The psychology of pain is a field and of himself and many universities have master's programs for those who want to help others cope with death. Another item is an advocate for patients, who fights for the rights of patients and debates the ethics of treatment – sometimes a baggage fee is required for this position, however. Psychology also has a side research, which may or may not correspond to the hospital. The process of psychological assessment is the diagnosis and treatment and Research continues to be done on both. Government agencies, hospitals, nonprofit organizations, pharmaceutical companies, some companies, universities and not all psychological research. I have not covered all possibilities, but these are the main positions in a hospital. Career Happy hunting!
