You may want to forget making lists of your call to action or to learn new material. Map it! That's right, out the old pen and paper and draw a path of realization. Your goal, or what you need to learn is at the center of the map – write and can be set Clearly some form around the word (s). Then, add related information, contacts, resources, etc. that help you in your journey. I found dates and dollar amounts really keep me on task. Then make the link between the purpose or object and the supporting information. Finally, plug your data in support. Everything on your card should work in unison, nothing can be self-existing or it is on a separate plan, may be bound.
My first project while working for Citigroup has been difficult. I had no experience in recruiting for the operations center, and I panicked. Fortunately, I found a brochure on Mind Mapping, mapped each individual job descriptions and heard in record time. This visual method greatly accelerated learning of each of the jobs, and their connections to departments Boundary and direction. Consequently, Citigroup was so happy with my results of recruitment they offered me a second project.
If your Mobile is planning, mapping gives you the fastest way to the end. Not much time for complex planning, mapping is a fast version and a visual outline. It can be used for a project, job search, business plan, or just to have your opinion and see how they align. This visual planning often leads to the discovery of connections and resources for new paths to success that were not previously obvious.
Mapping allows you to tell the story of the evolution of your project or detail all the parts you need to memorize. Your visual history serves to focus attention on performance. Hang card in a place where you can not ignore it, or keep the items in a notebook and take it with you. With regular monitoring, you can retain information easily, and stay focused on the destination. I guarantee this type of visual stimulation will inspire and accelerate learning. Remember, a map is a tool that helps you go somewhere, a list just reminds you of tasks. Follow your map and enjoy your trip!
