Why is it so difficult to find employment when applying for employment in the U.S.?

I was applying for to jobs on the job the United States since 2006, and I've never referred to recruitment agencies. Even if I met all the minimum qualifications, I even had some highly skilled jobs, but has not been mentioned. What's up with that?

What jobs are you asking specifically? Some industries are better than others. Your geographical location also makes a difference.
