Why used True Crime Streets of LA working on my PC?

Okay, so ive installed the game All is well in the system requirements (I checked all that before I got it). I try to run the game, the streets of LA True Crime appears on the home screen, then disappears, followed by a window that says "truecrime.exe encountered an error and needs to close" and then it closes I have already tried install twice what I do -..? or not do what I can do to make it work?
