What is the primary federal law that lays the foundation for our current labor law?

What is the primary federal law that opens the way for our current employment law environment? What is the impact of various employment laws in the workplace? How action positively influenced the hiring practices? I'm not in people, but I had to answer these questions for a training exercise at work. I was just wondering what the answers are true and if there are sites that could help me read it? Thank you

It Many are at the federal level. Go to the U.S. Department of Labor website. There are laws fair labor, civil rights laws (1964 and later). Laws are displayed in your workplace, as well! Positive action has been determined by the Supreme Court in Griggs v. Duke Power as a cure for the results of systemic discrimination. It is an interesting case to examine. Many changes, not much used any more. The ADA is of course the more recent law, which is part of the agenda of civil rights. There are many things about hosting.
