Current scope of logistics / transport / shipper jobs in the United States?

Having worked for nearly 4 years in the Middle East for a leading freight forwarding / logistics Company.I am preparing to migrate to the United States in the next months.Frankly want to know if there are openings on the good work in this industry there in the USA?

The transportation industry in the United States was in a depression since approximately 6 months. The rates were lower than some have seen in over 30 years by some accounts. The volume of cargo was also down to a trickle compared to 6 months ago. Thousands of trucking companies ceased operations during the past year. The lower volume of available goods has led to a reduction in price frenzy in most industry segments Trucking prices down to unacceptable levels. Many will not survive. When the U.S. economy turns around which should result in shippers and logistics companies to pay more than average prices to move their goods. Their greed during this period will result in fewer trucks are available to convey what will be a glut of goods. Supply and demand will force rates letters to unprecedented levels. I expect this rate to at least double to triple the current rates. The current situation has had a positive effect on the rail.
