State of North Carolina Termination of Employment Regulations and the issue of regulations?

I have 2 friends who work for business in North Carolina. They have been placed on suspension and an end because of comments about his unnamed colleagues on their MySpace and Facebook pages. The two friends have private accounts and neither has been specific with your comments. The comments were very general in nature. My friends where both said their comments violated the policy of the company gossip. Is this legal? Neither friend visited their site from a network of computer work at work or.

I think that "Donna" has a "right to work" state of confusion with an "employment at will state." While a "right to work" means that the state you do not have to join a union to find a job.
