You can also have the a maximum of 6 years. for a green card for your business must produce a certificate of employment, unless you can get a waiver to the national interest. Or you can convince immigration that you are an outstanding researcher – and you would need a permanent position for this, which does complicate things – you could not get it while being paid by a grant.
