what jobs can you ask an associates degree in surgical technology in addition to being a technology chir?

I my associate degree in specialized surgical technology but it is not so easy to find open positions in this particular field. I wanted just wondering if you could do other work with a surgical technician degree or can you only work at the hospital or clinic as surgical technician or central sterile technician.

You are a bit limited in surgical technology, since it is a special diploma. Try looking in another region of the country, if it is an option. You may be able to find work in an office host who handles scheduling patients for surgery, but they can not or will not experience the front office. Another option would be to obtain additional certification in the office, EMT, or CNA. These jobs pay far less, but consider that it is temporary. It could open doors and you could get a surg-tech future. Your experience and knowledge of medical procedures and terminology acquired to obtain the degree would help you much in these temporary career.
