tn employment
What City TN better job opportunities, Memphis or Nashville?

……… In general. I Psychology BA and MA in Human Resources Management with around 2 years experience in a related field, I am a lawful permanent resident of the United States (Irish National) I am also deciding who would be the best of both to live in. Many thanks to all!

Of the two, I suspect that Nashville would be a better choice. There are bigger companies out there, many medical related businesses, universities and several private schools, and a better economy overall. It is also a lot less humid.

$27.07

As African American women left slavery and the plantation economy behind, many entered domestic service in southern cities and towns. Cooking was one of the primary jobs they performed in white employers' homes, feeding generations of white families and, in the process, profoundly shaping southern foodways and culture. Rebecca Sharpless argues that, in the face of discrimination, long workdays, an...
Kansas in the Great Depression: Work Relief, the Dole, and Rehabilitation Kansas in the Great Depression: Work Relief, the Dole, and Rehabilitation

No part of the United States escaped the ravages of the Great Depression, but some coped with it better than others. Ranging widely over all of Kansas s 105 counties, Peter Fearon provides a detailed analysis of the key relief programs for both urban and rural areas and shows that the state s Republican administration effectively ran New Deal welfare policies. Kansas in the Great Depression is an...
