The last days in Australia has highlighted a surge in employment in the economic recovery is on track. The plan aims to keep results of those were working.The a surprise for the markets because there was a lag effect expected.

The relevant facts and figures are as follows:
– Near 100,000 jobs were added to the economy of Australia over the last three months
– A heavy 31,200 jobs have been added in November
– A solid 30,800 full-time positions constituted the bulk of new jobs
– State of Victoria has added the most new jobs

Unemployment
The unemployment rate fell to 5.7% – the same as earlier in March this year and 5.8% in October. This rate is a contrast important to the official projection of 8.5%, which seemed high at the time. These figures are revised every six months and prospects mid-year will be published towards the end of the year.

Most economists expect a peak of just over 6%. The Deputy Prime Minister has by official forecasts that unemployment could reach 6.75% in the middle of next year. However, as it is now clear undeniable that job losses have hit bottom around July, these figures can not be justification for the ongoing political expenditure by the government.

Implications
The fastest job growth in three years has important implications for employers and employees – interest rate high, the shortage of skills, pay claims, higher turnover, and recruitment.

The increase interest rates – rates will continue rising and we saw the Reserve Bank away from other major central banks lifting prices in October, with a higher rate just a week earlier.

The shortage of skills – some CEOs are already concerned that we will face skills shortages in certain sectors, especially with the increased demand for resource projects.

Claims wage – as many companies implemented a wage freeze during the past year, new employees focusing on packages higher wages will put pressure on pay equity for existing staff. Companies will also need to consider some catch increases to avoid lagging behind the market. Unions have been reasonably careful with their wage demands and will use any shortage tradespeople to target the highest salary increases.

Higher sales – that general confidence improves there will be an increase in turnover, as many employees are waiting for the new year to start looking for new jobs

More Jobs – there was strong anecdotal evidence of my network interviewer that there was a marked recovery in the number of common tasks. The end Superior is still uneven, but also begins to have some signs of life. We all look forward to a busy year 2010.

Outlook
In summary, the economic recovery is accelerating and we seem to sail in 2010 with a view to better than a year ago, which must be good news.
